But when I tried to remap the shift key, it remapped both shift and right arrow - SharpKeys doesnt seem to.

Six months later, I finally replaced the keyboard, and Id like to set it back to normal. It registers normal keys(a, s, d, etc.) as device Keyboard8 on my machine, but for the multimedia keys it uses a device named 'wireless gamepad'.Īll i am trying to do is to invert the behaviour of the Fn modifier, or at least remap the regular multimedia buttons to the f1-12 keys. My Dell XPS 9350 keyboards right arrow key stopped working, so I remapped my right shift key to right arrow using SharpKeys. SharpKeys includes support for up to 104. Here is one example for usage, you accidentally hit the Caps Lock often you could then use this utility to map the Caps Lock to a Shift key or even turn it off entirely if desired. But i run into the same issues there as well. SharpKeys is a registry hack that allows you to replace a keyboard keys function with that of another.

I initially tried HIDmacros as i have that set up with a numeric keypad. So it looks like this particular keyboard does some weird stuff i cant get around. I use sharp keys for all the Touhou games to play with wasd and more but for some reason the program won't work for th15. I have been making keystroke errors on my new computer, so I wanted to move the NumLk key and the numeric keypad '. The 'Search' button displays as 00_100 in sharpkeys for multiple buttons Search, home, email, next, previous, volume up, volume down, etc. The 'cut' button seems to be a macro keycode 17 and then keycode 88 (x). I tried scanning for the keypress, however it gives me an error saying it is a key that it doesnt know about. I tried messing around with the F-lock options in sharpkeys, but that didn't work for me.

So the issue lies somewhere in keyboard layout and regional settings, which still uses COMMA instead of DOT.Īny suggestions how to resolve this? Using US layout is not a solution for me.So i have read a bit about this but couldn't find a solution to my problem.īasically the issue that i am having is that I have a wireless multimedia keyboard, that has the f keys set to multimedia keys by default (search for f1, home for f2, email for f3, etc.)Īnd with this particular keyboard you have to hit Fn to use the regular f1-12 buttons. I also tried to change the Keyboard layout to US, which resolved the issue in PowerDraft and it was possible to write DOT from NUMPAD. It doesn't pick up the system settings, so it tries to write COMMA in measures and it resolves to jump in the next field. But in PowerDraft, the situations is still the same. I tried to write number with decimal point in Excel and there are correctly used system settings, so the keyboard writes DOT instead of COMMA from NUMPAD. I have verified the regional settings of system, I have set correctly this setting to use DOT instead of COMMA, which is default for Czech locale. Only way is to use standard key for DOT on left, but it's inconvenient to write numbers like this. When I start writing number and use the key with decimal point on the NumPad keyboard, the pointer jumps to next field, so it doesn't allow me to write the decimal point from the NUMPAD. When starting point is placed, coordinates/measures is possible to insert in the AccuDraw fields down in status bar. To replicate the issue: When trying to draw SmartLine with AccuDraw, first I choose the Place SmartLine tool and click into drawing to place the starting point. Keyboard: HP USB Business Slim, CZ layout I'm having the same issue, will try to explain more in detail for troubleshooting.
